About the Author

Jessica LeeAnn, a native of Richmond, CA, discovered her love for writing in high school. She started writing poetry and song lyrics before writing her first short story in 2009. Gaining confidence in her writing abilities, she began sharing her work with friends. Jessica's first love is poetry for which she has entered many contests and recited her poetry at open mic events in the Bay Area. She's also been a repeat poet at the Ebony Elites annual fundraiser luncheon for the past five years. Along with writing poetry, Jessica also has a blog, Jessica LeeAnn Writes, where she writes encouraging content for Christians. Jessica has self-published four books: two urban fiction novels Raven and Cold Hearted Diva, as well as an encouragement book titled Trusting the Process: Encouragement for Single Mothers, and a collection of contemporary Christian fiction short stories titled I Love You, But. A contributor of the 2015 series of Zoe Life Inspired devotional book, Jessica is currently completing a devotional book of her own along with a workbook titled But Now I'm Found. Jessica is also co-authoring her first biography. Jessica LeeAnn resides in the Bay Area with her daughter.
